The Peekskill Museum received a PHS Drum Majorette Uniform from the nieces of Julia Mulschen '36. Julia  died on Jan. 15, 1999.
Here is the text of the Display card that will be attached to the uniform.

Peekskill High School - Drum Majorette Uniform ca.1936. Worn by Julia Mulschen Class of '36 - Made at the Weller Store - Peekskill, N.Y.
B. Jan. 10, 1918 D. Jan 15, 1999 Lived entire life in Peekskill. Attended Assumption School. Graduated from PHS in 1936.
Worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company retired in 1980.
A Gift from her nieces: Marianne McCormack - Croton and Gail Hunter- Peekskill

Word has been received that Harold Shaw passed away on Dec. 9, 1999.
Hal was a football star and won many a game for the undefeated 1936 team with his excellent pass receiving from Karl "Dutch" DeRonda. He also excelled in track and swimming.
During WWII Hal saw action aboard the cruiser USS Philadelphia
